Nope, it's not February yet. Being in and out of love a few times in my life makes me love and hate this topic very much. It is a love-and-hate relationship.
The phrase "love hurts" remind me of the cheesy song by Nazareth. I prefer another song, also called Love Hurts, performed by Incubus.

But sometimes it's a good hurt
And it feels like I'm alive
I guess it hurts the most when we care about others too much, especially if they're the ones who hurt us. However, if you have not loved and be hurt, you have not lived.
"I don't want to fight with you. I like you too much."
