Hi! It's about time that I finally come up with another blog giveaway. This was actually my blogger friend, Marvic's idea. We're both from Sarawak and we both celebrate Gawai Dayak, so Marvic thought it would be cool to further promote both Hari Gawai Dayak and Pesta Ka'amatan by hosting a blog giveaway.

However, since Marvic works in Sabah, she has agreed to sponsor the prizes, which are Sabah souvenirs, while I sponsor the Sarawak souvenirs.

Sabah souvenirs up for grabs include a Sabah t-shirt, 3 key chains, and 3 fridge magnets. On the other hand, Sarawak souvenirs include a pencil case, 3 fridge magnets, 2 key chains, and 3 postcards.

Segmen: Saya Nak Lepak Ngan Awak!

I rarely write in Malay. In fact, I can say I almost never blog in Malay. If you're a non-Malaysian, the title of my blog post simply means Segment: I Wanna Hang Out With You!

The segment was started by my new found Twitter friend, Ajam on his blog Ajamoppical. Want to join us? All you have to do is:

Hanging out with Shemah and Ane, both at the same time would be so much fun. I just knew it. Maybe a movie and lunch day out? Sounds perfect!

On Web Hosting and Domain Names

I was thinking of ways to get more income. I have recently been offered to be a reseller for a local website that sells craft supplies. All I have to do is pay RM100 for a reseller website, with my own domain name, and an e-commerce system.

However, I'm having a tough time deciding if it is worth it. Nevertheless, if it works out, it would be a great opportunity for me, and my brother can help me out with it. It will be our joint-venture project, and we will be able to gain more income with it.

I'm also working out on how to pay for the 3 domain names that I have at the moment. I'd hate to let them go, but domain name renewals are getting more expensive, and I don't know if I can afford them anymore next year. The nearest renewal will be in March, and hopefully I'll be able to save enough by then.

If you're wondering what a domain name is, it's the address of your website, such as like mtv.com or mylife.net, and so forth. On the other hand, a web host is where your web pages are located or uploaded. It's like a little computer, where all the information related to your website is stored.

I'm not sure which web hosting company is the best right now, but you could check out findwebhosting.com. The site provides a review on all the best and most popular web hosting companies out there. You can view their prices, free offers, bandwidth, and read reviews too. You can also view their performance and score based on the mentioned criterias. 2nd Adsense Payout

I'm so happy that I managed to cash out my Adsense earnings yesterday. The first time was in December last year, and this time, I received $100+ from Google. Despite the lower exchange rate, I still received RM304.90. Yay!

GoDaddy .com Renewal Discount Code

Since I purchased my first domain a few years ago, I've always looked for ways to save on domain renewals. I've just renewed the domains for www.phat-woman.com and www.celeb-square.com a few minutes ago, and I managed to save $8.00!

I Googled for GoDaddy discount codes for renewals and found this code: gdbb776. I tried it and it worked! I paid only $7.99 for each of my domain, instead of $11.99. I paid only $16.34, including $0.36 for iCANN fees for two .com domains. Isn't that great?

If you're looking to save more, you can renew your domains for two or three years. I only renewed my domains for a year each. Remember, the code is gdbb776! Happy saving! :)

Fashion Newbie

I've been trying to get some work done today but to no avail. However, I did watch some trailers and updated CelebSquare, and found out that my blog PR has been updated. CelebSquare now has a PR1 yay!

I know it's not a big deal for most of you, especially if you have PR3 and PR4 blogs, but it means a lot to me because I've been working really hard on CelebSquare.

Oh, I finally wore the dress I bought online last month. I bought 2 dresses, a cropped cardigan and a long cardigan. I love the feel of this dress I'm wearing in the pic. I wore it with my long cardigan, which is my current favourite piece. I've never been into fashion much, but I love my purchases so far. I'm looking forward to buying more from my favourite seller.

Anyway, I'm suffering from sore throat again and I cannot wait for my Strepsils. I asked Jojo to get some for me today, since he has to go through some treatment sessions this whole week. He seems to be doing well, even without me accompanying him to the hospital, so that's a good sign.

I'm also expecting for new stocks for my online store this week. I bought clear stamps, brads, alphabet stickers, and ribbons. Can't wait for them to arrive! Have a great, productive week!
